Open Heart, Open Breath
Open your heart and honor the breath of life, the connection between your body, mind, and soul. Breathing awareness can help us understand our nervous system and stress held in our bodies.
Using Conscious Connected Breath can alter our brainwaves and open us up to experiencing what truly exists in our heart. Giving the right to feel, expression, and explore. All forms of expression, including sounds and movement, are welcome. Releasing tension from the body through vocal toning or sighing.
This is a gentle approach that allows us to ease into the experience of breathwork
What Conscious Connected Breath?
In CCB, we breathe in and out through the mouth while in a supine position. A gentle rhythm of breathing lets us unwind naturally at our own pace. Instead of intense activation, this allows us to move in a gentle manner that supports our nervous system. Once we establish a slow, relaxed, consistent rhythm, we can then explore tempo and shape of the breath.
